Terms of Service

Effective 2026-06-11

These Terms govern your use of cccanteen.com and the 3C Canteen mobile applications (together, the "Service") operated by HandwerkSolutions OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia.

1. Who can use the Service

The Service is offered to (a) operators — businesses that run a canteen or similar food-service operation; (b) tag owners — natural persons who load credit and consume meals; and (c) staff — employees of an operator using the kiosk and POS apps under temporary credentials. By creating an account you confirm you have the authority to bind yourself or your organization.

2. Operator obligations

Operators are responsible for: KYC information accuracy; the safekeeping of staff PINs; the lawfulness of every transaction recorded against their canteens; refunds and disputes with their tag owners; and compliance with applicable food, payments, and tax law in their jurisdiction.

3. Tag owner balances

Balances loaded onto a tag are pre-paid value redeemable only for goods and services at the operator's canteens. Balances are not legal tender, are non-transferable between operators, and may be subject to expiry rules set by the operator. Prepaid meal credits and credit packages purchased for a tag are treated the same way — prepaid value redeemable only at the operator's canteens, non-transferable, and subject to any operator-set expiry. HandwerkSolutions OÜ merely operates the technical platform.

4. Payments and fees

Top-ups are processed by third-party payment providers (currently Stripe, MTN Mobile Money, and Orange Money). Fees and exchange rates are governed by those providers' terms; per-transaction fees are disclosed in the dashboard before checkout. Subscription fees for operators are charged monthly in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You may not: use the Service to launder funds; reverse-engineer the cryptographic protections on tags; attempt to deplete balances on tags you do not own; scrape data beyond what is exposed to you by the API; or otherwise circumvent technical or contractual access controls.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access on reasonable notice for breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or non-payment. Operators terminating their subscription remain responsible for refunding any outstanding tag balances at their canteens. Account holders may close their own account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete account); closure disables access immediately, subject to records we must retain by law.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Estonian law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus), Tallinn.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced via the dashboard and email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
